The "Pasima J Color Quilt" has been recognized as "JBA Healthcare Certified Bedding (TM)" by the Japan Bedding Goods Association (JBA). This indicates that the bedding has been confirmed to have health-related scientific evidence. This is the first case in Japan where three companies, including Ryugu, have received this certification.

This certification system was established by the Japan Bedding Goods Association based on requirements such as the "Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Healthcare Services Guidelines," setting independent standards for the bedding industry. Products are evaluated on four criteria: sleep health function based on scientific evidence, hygiene function, maintenance function, and corporate social responsibility. Products that meet these standards are recognized as "JBA Healthcare Certified Bedding (TM)" for their contribution to health maintenance and promotion, preventive care, and extended healthy lifespan.

The Secret Story Behind Pasima's Development

Tei Reiichiro, "the man obsessed with cotton," after long deliberation, finally developed the healthy bedding "Pasima®".

Sleep is the fundamental condition for health.

When I was a child, my uncle taught me: "There's nothing better than absorbent cotton." Absorbent cotton is a medicine; just by touching the skin, wounds can heal.

Over sixty years old, suffering from more than ten illnesses and tormented by drug side effects, I decided to stop taking medication, try various health methods, and seek better solutions. Finally, a flash of inspiration led me to think of the "gauze" and "absorbent cotton" I manufactured.

Looking back on my life, I realized I had been involved with gauze and absorbent cotton for over sixty years. Just as I was about to forget my uncle's words, I began to re-examine absorbent cotton and eventually conceived the prototype of "Pasima," bedding that provides clean and comfortable sleep. "I was truly overjoyed at that time."

At that time, I learned about the "sleeping without underwear" movement initiated by Sapporo Broadcasting in Hokkaido, and I also recalled my grandmother's habit of sleeping nude when I was a child. I felt it made sense, so I tried sleeping nude on the comfortable Pasima, initiating the practice of "nude sleep for health." Unexpectedly, this brought a major turning point for my body and mind. Years of extreme skin allergies and various discomforts disappeared within half a year, changing my traditional views on health and medicine. "It was truly an eye-opener."

Since then, I further developed "removing underwear" into the "comfortable nude sleep health method." This is a unique health method that suggests sleeping without underwear and nude is most beneficial for the body. The deeper I researched, the more reasonable its theory seemed. I personally tested this health method, deeply experienced comfortable sleep, and gradually regained my vitality. Against this backdrop, the original "Pasima" was born.

Afterward, I dedicated myself to researching bedding materials, traveling extensively. After about ten years, I finally completed the ideal bedding—"Pasima." This product is designed based on ergonomics, from material selection to size design, all tailored for the user. "Pasima" therefore received multiple honors, including the Fukuoka Prefecture Invention and Design Committee Special Award. Subsequently, I continued to research various properties of Pasima, proving its ability to help the body activate its natural healing power and revealing the mechanism behind its comfortable skin feel after washing.

Today, thanks to the enthusiastic support of "Pasima" fans nationwide, this dream continues to this day.

Japan is the country with the longest life expectancy in the world. However, I believe that merely living a long life is not true longevity. The true path to longevity lies in shining through work, recreation, and volunteer service, maintaining "lifelong active participation."

I've been called a "disease department store" due to numerous ailments, yet I dedicated eighty years to my family's "cotton product business," pursuing an ideal life with a Quixotic stubbornness. Ultimately, I invented "Pasima," an ideal bedding made from absorbent cotton and gauze.

Pasima boasts unique advantages of natural materials, including warmth retention, breathability, comfortable touch, moisture absorption, and quick-drying properties. Falling asleep enveloped in Pasima bedding feels like returning to a mother's womb, bringing a sense of security and healing. Even in cold winters, one feels warm and comfortable, sleeping soundly through the night. Unbeknownst to me, my years of troublesome dust mite allergies also disappeared.

Later, many customers who purchased and used Pasima wrote to share their joy; some experienced improvement in shoulder stiffness, back pain, and insomnia, while others found their skin becoming smooth and delicate. I was incredibly moved by this, as if it were my own good fortune.
